Residence Kibbutz Einat 1
In this project we took the opportunity to study the relation between mass and void.
A 15X13m rectangular mass was excavated into fascinating interior-exterior relations. It creates semi-internal porches that double the size of the living area while overlooking the green fields of the Kibbutz.
The private area of the bedrooms and restrooms works as an efficient "living machine" connected by a single portal to the spacious living area and kitchen.
The material used increases the differences between inside and outside, mass and void, while architecture combines them into one living entity.
